A crown caps a damaged tooth entirely, restoring its shape and strength when a filling alone isn't enough to hold it together. Where a crown saves a single struggling tooth, a bridge fills the space left by a missing one, using neighboring teeth as anchors. Both are custom-fabricated to match your bite and the shade of your surrounding teeth.
Some partner offices can design, mill, and place a crown in one visit instead of the traditional two-visit process involving a temporary crown. A bridge case usually spans a few appointments since it depends on precise impressions of both anchor teeth and the gap between them.
Treatment order matters here — a crown placed over an unresolved cavity or an unhealthy gumline won't hold up as well long-term. Getting the foundation healthy first is what makes the final crown or bridge actually last.
Select offices design and mill a crown in one visit using in-office CAD/CAM technology.
Zirconia and porcelain options prioritize appearance; metal options prioritize durability for back molars.
Shade matching ensures the restoration blends with surrounding natural teeth.
Traditional bridges use your existing healthy teeth as anchors, avoiding implant surgery when appropriate.
Whatever the specifics of your case, the specialist you reach through us has handled it before.
